SymVue - Custom User Control Screens
SymVue is a real-time user control panel application that displays control
screens exported from SymNet Composer functioning as a multi-user, multi-
point control environment for SymNet systems. SymVue runs on any
Windows-compatible device, including touch screen enabled PCs and
tablets. The computer communicates directly with SymNet hardware over
Ethernet, independent of SymNet Composer. The desired user control interface
is created in SymNet Composer as a control screen, and then exported to one or
many Windows devices for tailored operation of the SymNet system.
Multiple computers can control one system. One computer can control SymNet
units. Any single control can be common to multiple computers. All SymVue
computer(s), any Symetrix ARC wall panels, and even third-party control systems
are synchronized with each other at all times.
This process of creating a graphical user interface and exporting it to o-the-
shelf control hardware represents a signicant savings in time and money when
compared to third party control systems. The included collection of
customisable graphic objects coupled with the ability to import .JPG, .BMP, and
.PNG les means user displays can be of the highest quality.
