The Community R-Series leads the industry in high-performance

all-weather professional loudspeakers. When the industrial

grade R2 was introduced in 1998, it became an important

advance in outdoor sound systems. For the rst me, high

quality voice reproducon and music performance normally

associated only with indoor systems were now available for

outdoor use. Since then, the R2 has been installed in sports

facilies all over the United States, as well as in NFL and Olympic

venues worldwide. The R-Series family has been expanded to

include compact weather-resistant models, large bass horns

and high SPL voice range announcement systems.

What sets the R-Series apart?

High Intelligibility. All Community R-Series loudspeakers are

highly intelligible. In any public area, college campus or large

venue, intelligibility becomes crical amidst the panic of a

dangerous situaon or sudden evacuaon. With the R-Series,

emergency communicaons.

Versale Performance. The R-Series features ghtly controlled

dispersion paerns and long projecon distances. The “throw

distance” of an RSH-462, for example, is over 240 yards (218

meters) at 96 decibels, much longer than that of convenonal

paging horns. At the same me, ght paern control allows

the sound to travel only where it is directed and away from

neighboring areas.

Weather-Resistant Construcon. All R-Series loudspeakers

are proven leaders in outdoor performance. From local

athlec elds to college campuses to water parks to NASCAR

motor speedways, R-Series loudspeakers are ulized for their

high quality speech and music reproducon coupled with

unquesoned product longevity. All R-Series are built to

imaginable. These loudspeakers are commonly used on ski

slopes and winter resorts, as well as on beaches and Caribbean

cruise ships.

Though designed to handle harsh environments, R-Series is the

perfect choice for many less demanding condions as well, as

evidenced by the vast number of units installed in convenon

centers, gymnasiums, airports and other indoor venues. With

22 models to choose from, ranging from short throw with wide

coverage angles to ultra-narrow, long throw systems, the task

of designing an acouscally and economically eecve sound

system for entertainment and mass nocaon systems has

never been easier.

Smaller R-Series products are rotaonally molded of

polyethylene, while the larger models are built from hand-laid

glass ber composites. All medium and long throw R-Series

systems feature horn loading in all frequency bands. The

acclaimed R2 is oered with no less than three symmetric horn

paerns and two asymmetric horn paerns, and all models with

the excepon of R6, RMG and RSH are equipped with internal

protecon circuitry to guard against abusive overdrive. All

models are available in architectural light grey, but custom colors

are also available for volume purchases. R-Series is protected by

a 5-year product warranty and 15-year enclosure warranty.

In summary, the R-Series family can singularly, or in combinaon,

handle almost any large-scale public address task imaginable. It

is the clear choice for short, medium, and long throw applicaons

where high power speech and music reinforcement is required.
